Houses in Easton

I help people sell a house in Easton, and I help people buy one. I worked in construction before I sold homes, so I look at the roof, the foundation, and the systems before we talk about price.

Easton is a town of villages. Locals name Easton Center, Five Corners, Furnace Village, Eastondale and more, and older residents still say North Easton and South Easton. North Easton holds the Ames Free Library and the other H. H. Richardson buildings, and the Ames shovel works made the shovels that built the Union Pacific Railroad. Borderland State Park and Stonehill College are in town. Routes 106, 123 and 138 are the roads, with Route 24 and I-495 just outside. There is no commuter rail stop yet. Two facts matter for every sale here: most homes are on town water with septic, so Title 5 comes up at sale, and the town stopped curbside trash on June 30, 2026, so owners hire a private hauler. I look at the septic plan, the roof, the foundation, and the systems before we talk about price. That visit is not an inspection, and it is not an appraisal.

Easton single-family homes, January 1 to October 23, 2026 (MLS PIN): median sale price $770,000; 135 sales closed; median 28 days on market; median $360 per square foot.

Reasons to sell in Easton

The worry, then how I help.

Upsizing

You do not want to sell before the next house is set.

I map the dates so you are not stuck with two payments or nowhere to go.

A multi-family

Tenants may still be in the home, and you are ready to sell.

I follow the lease and the law, and I do not promise that a tenant will leave.

Needs work

The house needs work and you do not want to renovate first.

I price it as it stands, and that opinion is not a home inspection.

Inherited

You inherited a house and you are not sure what you can do yet.

I coordinate with your estate attorney, and I do not give legal advice.

A condo

Fees, reserves, or the rules can surprise a buyer.

I read those before we set a price.

Buy and sell

You need to sell one home and buy the next.

I put both dates on paper before we list.

How I help sellers

From the first call through closing, you deal with me.

Pricing

I price from recent sales and the repairs that pay you back, and this is my opinion, not an appraisal.

Prep

I give you a short prep list and introduce vendors that you hire and pay yourself.

Negotiation

I negotiate price, dates, and inspection terms, and I keep my list to 6 to 8 so I have the time.

Closing

A transaction coordinator keeps the file moving, and you still talk to me.

Buying in Easton

Or find your next home in Easton. Before you offer, I look at the roof, the foundation, and the systems. I bring trusted home inspectors and I walk through the inspection with you. I do not replace the inspector.

First home

You are buying your first home and you do not want to miss a costly problem.

I tell you what I see before you offer.

Multi-family

You need the building’s real condition, not a pitch.

I look at the roof, the systems, and the numbers before you offer.

The inspection

You want someone with you who can explain what the report means.

I bring trusted home inspectors and I walk through the inspection with you.

The trip to Boston

You work in Boston and you need the real trip. Easton has no train stop yet, so it is the bus or the car.

I talk about the roads and the commuter buses as facts, then I look at the house.

Questions about Easton

Do I need a realtor in Easton to sell my house?

No. A licensed real estate agent can list and sell in Easton. I am a licensed real estate agent, and I do not use the Realtor title. Searching for a realtor in Easton? I will walk the house in North Easton or out by Five Corners and price the real condition.

Does my Easton house need a Title 5 inspection?

Most Easton homes are on septic, so plan on Title 5 at sale. I bring it up at the first walk so it does not surprise you or the buyer.

What do you look at before an Easton seller spends money?

The repairs that pay you back, not a new coat of paint by itself. I will say which is which after the walk. I am not a home inspector.

What should buyers know about trash in Easton?

The town ended curbside trash pickup on June 30, 2026. Owners now hire a licensed private hauler. I tell buyers that up front, along with the septic.

Do you work the whole town of Easton?

Yes. North Easton, South Easton, Easton Center, Five Corners and the other villages are all in the work. Call or text me if a nearby page is not up yet.

I also help people buy and sell in the towns next to Easton. If that page is not up yet, call or text me.
