I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive tools.

My goal

I aim for johnfortes.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What I have done

• Pages use headings and landmarks (header, main content, footer) so screen readers can move through them.
• Images have text descriptions.
• Forms have visible labels, mark required fields in words, and show error messages in text.
• Text uses large sizes and strong color contrast.
• Links, buttons, and form fields can be reached with a keyboard.
• Phone, text, and email options are offered on every page, so a form is never the only way to reach me.

Known limits

• Some content comes from other services, such as videos, listing sites, and the call booking tool. I do not control how accessible those services are.
• Some older pages or PDFs may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA yet.
• I check the site with automated tools and by hand, but I may miss things.
