This policy explains what information johnfortes.com collects, how I use it, and how you can ask me to delete it.

Who I am

This website is run by John Fortes, a real estate agent with J. Fortes Real Estate, Inc., brokered by RE/MAX Synergy, Brockton, MA. In this policy, “I,” “me,” and “my” mean John Fortes and J. Fortes Real Estate, Inc.

What I collect

When you fill out a form on this site, I collect what you type in. That can include:

Your name
Your email address
Your phone number
A property address or town
Your message, and your answers about buying, selling, and timing

Vendors who use the vendor form also share a company name and trade. The site also records basic technical details when a form is sent, such as the page you were on and the date and time.

How I use it

To reply to you by phone, text, or email about your real estate question
To keep a record of our conversations so I can help you well
To keep the site working and to block spam

Where your information is stored

Email: Form messages are emailed to me.
WordPress: A copy of each form message is saved in this website’s WordPress database.
Follow Up Boss: Client inquiries are sent to Follow Up Boss, the customer relationship management (CRM) system I use to track and follow up with clients. Vendor inquiries are not sent there.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information like your device, browser, approximate location, and pages visited. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site may also use cookies needed for basic functions and spam protection. If you click to book a call, the scheduling service (Calendly) handles that information under its own privacy policy.

I do not sell your information

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with the services listed above that help me run this site and my business, with people involved in your transaction when you ask me to (for example, a lender, attorney, or inspector), with my brokerage as required, or when the law requires it.

Texts and calls

If you send a form, you agree I may call, text, or email you about your real estate question. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

How long I keep it

I keep your information as long as needed to help you and to meet record-keeping rules for real estate transactions, unless you ask me to delete it and the law allows it.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the personal information I have about you. Contact me at j.fortes@johnfortes.com or call or text 774-619-7846. I will confirm your request and remove your information from my email, WordPress, and Follow Up Boss records, except where the law requires me to keep it.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If I change this policy, I will post the new version here with a new effective date.
